Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). This ensures a perfectly roasted finish for your Brussels sprouts.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the balsamic vinegar, honey, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk these together vigorously until the mixture is smooth and well integrated.
Introduce the halved Brussels sprouts into the bowl and gently toss them in the balsamic honey mixture, making sure each piece is thoroughly coated with the flavorful blend.
Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper. This will help prevent sticking and make cleanup a breeze. Spread the coated Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast the Brussels sprouts for 25-30 minutes. Stir halfway through the cooking process to promote even roasting. They are done when they are golden brown and feel tender when pierced with a fork.
If you choose to add some crunch, sprinkle the chopped pecans or walnuts over the Brussels sprouts during the last 5 minutes of roasting.
After roasting, carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven. Allow the Brussels sprouts to cool for a couple of minutes before garnishing with freshly chopped parsley.
Notes
Add nuts for extra crunch and garnish with parsley for freshness.
