puff pastry, thawed

cream cheese, softened to room temperature

powdered sugar

teaspoon
pure vanilla extract

fresh blueberries, rinsed and drained

tablespoon
fresh lemon juice

egg
beaten (for egg wash)

tablespoon
coarse sugar (for topping)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet and cut it into 4 equal squares.
In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Place a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
In a small bowl, toss the blueberries with lemon juice and distribute them over the cream cheese filling.
Fold the corners of each pastry square towards the center and pinch the edges to seal.
Brush the exposed edges with the beaten egg and sprinkle coarse sugar on top.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a serving platter.
Notes
Serve warm on a decorative plate, garnished with extra blueberries and powdered sugar.
