Start by cutting the avocados in half and carefully remove the pits. Use a spoon to scoop the green flesh into a mixing bowl.
To the bowl with the avocado, add in the sour cream, mayonnaise, buttermilk, ranch seasoning mix, fresh lemon juice, and minced garlic.
With a fork or an immersion blender, mash or blend the mixture together until it is smooth and creamy. If you prefer a chunkier texture, blend it to your liking.
After blending, taste the dip and adjust the seasoning by adding salt and freshly cracked pepper as needed to enhance the flavors.
Gently fold in some chopped fresh herbs to incorporate their fresh aroma and taste, giving the dip an extra layer of flavor.
